REBGV July 2014 Market Update

Buyer demand continues to put Greater Vancouver in the upper reaches of a balanced real estate market in summer 2014. There were 3,061 homes sold on the MLS service in July of 2014 which is up 3.9% from last year and is the fourth consecutive month where the market has exceeded 3,000 sales.

There are a total of 15,617 homes for sale on the Greater Vancouver MLS in July 2014. The benchmark home price has seen moderate but steady growth over the last year and is now hovering around the $628,600 for all of Greater Vancouver which is up 4.4% from last July.

Home buying activity has been steady throughout the summer months and continues to stay strong throughout August and September. If you have any questions about the Buying or Selling process or would like to know what your home may be worth, please don't hesitate to contact me.
