Gabriola Mansion in the west end has stood the test of time being built in 1901 back when the West End was a quiet and quaint neighbourhood (almost rural) to raise a family.  Designed by the legendary architect Samuel Maclure, the Victorian estate was designed for the Rogers family with room to spare. At it's height there were greenhouses, work sheds, entertainment rooms, guest quarters, and stables.

Over the years the house has been converted to a multi-unit apartment building back in the 20's but since then has also served as a location for restaurants, movie sets, suicides and a rumored underground tunnel back during the prohibition days.

The current owner has decided that it is time to sell this historic Vancouver landmark for the low price of $10,000,000. For this amount of investment you get:

  • 17,327 square feet of living space
  • half acre lot in the heart of Vancouver's West End neighbourhood
  • 26 parking spots
  • A-Listed heritage building

With heritage buildings, there are very strict guidelines on what the new owner can do to the exterior and interior based on the class of heritage status. This is to try and preserve Vancouver's Historic architecture.
